Radio Stations
The larger radio stations in New Zealand are managed by two companies — The Radio Network and RadioWorks. In addition there are the Radio New Zealand Stations, Access Community Stations (NZ on Air), Maori Radio Stations and Student Radio Stations.
You can click on their websites listed below to access your local representative contact details for advertising and to collect information about the stations coverage/audiences etc, for your marketing plan. Remember that some stations also have a free community notice board that you list your event/exhibition etc on.
The Radio Network The Radio Network manages the network brands: Newstalk ZB, Classic Hits, ZMFM, Radio Sport, Radio Hauraki, Viva, Coast and Flava.
RadioWorks RadioWorks has a network of over 100 stations broadcasting throughout New Zealand, including 6 Network Brands – The Edge, Kiwi, The Rock, Solid Gold, Radio Live and Radio Pacific. RadioWorks also operates 21 live and local stations broadcasting under the More FM brand and six local stations broadcasting as The Breeze.
Radio New Zealand Radio New Zealand is a crown owned entity and are the national public radio broadcasting organisation serving listeners throughout New Zealand. Radio New Zealand broadcasts over three nationwide networks; National Radio, Concert FM and the AM network which relays Parliamentary proceedings.

Access Radio
New Zealand On Air funds a variety of community radio services - access radio stations; Pacific Island community radio services; and a radio reading service for the print disabled. Access radio is radio for the people by the people and gives community groups the chance to make and broadcast their own programmes.
